ตัวอย่างบทคัดย่อ : The catalysts Ni-SAPO-34 and Ni-SAPO-44 were studied for a methanol conversion to olefin process. Ni-SAPO-34 was synthesized hydrothermally using aluminium isopropoxide, phosphoric acid, colloidal silica, nickel nitrate, and tetraethylammonium hydroxide. The starting chemicals for preparing Ni-SAPO-44 was similar to those for Ni-SAPO-34 except cyclohexylamine was replaced for tetraethylammonium hydroxide. By controlling the gel composition and crystallization conditions, pure phase of Ni-SAPO-34 and Ni-SAPO-44 were obtained. The conditions for using both catalysts for methanol conversion to olefins are studied. The activities of the catalysts were compared at various temperatures and contact time. Both types of catalysts present the methanol conversion above 90 percents and the selectivity to ethylene and propylene mixture is about 85 percent. These results are not much different between the two catalysts. Increasing temperature from 450 to 500 0C results in the higher selectivity to ethylene but lower selectivity to propylene. Increasing contact time makes the increase of coke formation for both types of catalysts. At 500 oC coke formation on Ni-SAPO-34 is much lower than that on Ni-SAPO-44.
